By Road From Norwich
Leave the A47 at the exit for the A146 towards Lowestoft. At the traffic lights turn left on to the Kirby Road signposted towards Bramerton & Kirby Bedon. Stay on this road passing the Bramerton sign on your left as you enter Bramerton and take the first left immediately after this sign. Stay on this road passing the sign to say you have entered Surlingham and remain on the same road, following it round to the right as you go down the hill past the green on your right. Carry on up the hill past the nursery on your right, then past a School on your right and a pond on your left. Turn left on to The Green and follow to the end before turning left on to The Street. After ¼ mile turn right onto Coldham Hall Carnser, the Pub is located at the end of this road.

Our Team

We are a small, young, close-knit team who work hard to make Coldham Hall the successful pub that it is today.

In the kitchen our Chefs create all of our fresh seasonal dishes and menus. Our Head Chef David Potter has a wealth of experience from various well known hotels and restaurants throughout East Anglia. He is passionate about creating tasty dishes from fresh local produce and combining originality with traditional cooking concepts. He is supported in the kitchen by our Sous Chef Ben, and kitchen assistants Josh and Zoe who also work front of house.

Our Manager Harry returned to Coldham Hall following a 2 year break from the industry, he just couldn't stay away! Harry is no longer in the kitchen but using his years spent in the kitchen at Coldham to keep the standard we have all come to expect.

Keeleigh is studying a Supervisor NVQ having already completed a hospitality apprenticeship with us. She grew up in the village and her parents still live in Surlingham. Her long term goal is to work in events and she hosted our first wedding show in October 2016.

The rest of our front of house team are all part time studying either at University or college and work mainly weekends and during the busy periods such as Easter, Christmas and the Summer months. Our front of house team are dedicated to providing excellent customer service and ensure the smooth running of the bar and restaurant.
